Introduction

ⲭⲁⲓⲣⲉ ⲛⲉⲕⲣⲁⲛ ⲛⲉ sa'd, ⲙ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ'm sixteen years ⲁⲣⲟⲅⲏ. If you’re not familiar with my language, I said hello my name is Sa’d, and I’m sixteen years old. My name means good fortune and luck, and I believe bringing fortune to my family is my purpose in life. I’m the first son of the twelve generation in my family, so I want to be a role model for the rest of my family. The reason I want to be such an incredible role model is because of my previous family members that lived before me. My family has a long history of being successful Egyptian merchants, that’s why my family today isn't poor because my ancestors kept wealth going in our family line. Along their journey, they would document all the memorable events and knowledge they’ve learned and seen overtime. Thankfully my family was able to preserve almost all of the writings, so I can learn about how Ancient Egypt used to be through their experience. In my blog I will be sharing some chapters from my ancestor’s writings with you all.
